Overview
This Airway Integration Masterclass™ is designed for dental professionals seeking a deeper understanding of whole-body health who want to truly recognize the critical role airway dysfunction has on oral-systemic health, growth and development, and long-term patient outcomes. It provides an evidence-based framework for screening, identifying, and integrating airway focused care into everyday dental practices.
Participants will develop an in-depth understanding of how airway dysfunction impacts the oral ecosystem and contributes to common clinical presentations such as chronic gingival inflammation, malocclusion, high caries rates, and impaired healing. A comprehensive review of upper airway anatomy will provide the fundamental knowledge needed to recognize subtle signs of airway dysfunction that have lasting impacts on patients throughout their lifetime.
By the end of this masterclass, participants will be equipped with a systematic approach they can use chairside within existing workflows to better identify airway dysfunction, recognize its implications on oral-systemic health patterns, communicate findings with patients, and advise patients on appropriate interventions.
